This is an OUTRAGE! A SCANDAL! How could the school, i mean moses do that! We dont have holidays! As in you know at the start of this sem they gave us our timetable and stuff, so the block i just finished was the last one. Which means this would be the holidays before the next school year starts. But somehow, they just added another module into our timetable and we cannot drop it cause it wasnt there during 'add/drop' period. So if you dont go you just fail it. How could they do this? I know everyone feels that we all need a break right about now cause school is such a bitch with the humungous workload. I almost got sick last week and thought, hey now i can recuperate but no. I already made plans to work so i can get a digicam but no. Poor charmaine who already bought plane tickets back to hongkong cant go. Ergh, i feel like stabbing the people responsible for this.

Man am i tired. I didnt sleep at all the night before adFund submission. The theme for my collection was 'queen of the damned' so i named it 'Drop Dead (gorgeous)' haha witty no? I spent the night drawing and colouring till the lower part of my thumb was red and sore and was slightly shiny... from the friction of the color pencils i guess; cause there was a lot of patterns i needed to fill in. So yeah i'm glad thats over. All that cutting from pasting. Like that day i was at borders to pick a fashion magazine to use and i was choosing between vogue and elle and people must have thought i was gay. Hahah. Ouh and i have Basic Video next block. Hopefully it turns well. I heard that its important to get good group members so i have my fingers crossed.

On a lighter note, i managed to watch 300 with sy at toa payoh yesterday. Wohoo. We got there like 5 mins before the movie time. Ok so i got to the counter, manned by this middle aged woman. Told her what i wanted to watch and at what time. After telling us how much we had to pay, she asked, "are you above 18?" So in the most mature voice i could muster i uttered "Yes." echoed my sy. And she took it. I mean if you're not gonna check our ic.s why even bother asking? Haha but i love her for it. Anyways the movie was awesome. Besides the fact that my nachos smelled like stale sweat and there was almost no leg room. I mean there wasnt much of a storyline but every scene looked photoshopped and the action sequences were amazing. The flying blood looked a bit fake tho. Ouh but i loved the fact that there were weird beings... disgusting but cool. And i found the persian king to be rather drag, from the shape of his lips to the millions of piercings and jewellery on his nearly naked body to the black and gold eye makeup. Haha. But it was really a cool sight when he came for the 1st time sitting on his huge stone throne carried by hundreds of slaves. I found the spartan king's beard distracting. Sy found their abs disturbing. You could tell some had like makeup on them to make it more noticeable. He said he didnt know why it was m18. I guess it was the female nudity and gore. But then again, Pathfinder also had decapitations... not as graphic as the 300 one tho cause that one was super real the way the skin jiggled when it hit the ground and stuff.

But pathfinder was rather bad. I watched it today with sean. Boring. I actually fell asleep for like a minute. Cause like that particular scene was quiet and it was dark and the temp of the cinema was just right. And also cause i havent fully paid back my sleep debt(seriously if you dont get enough, you acumulate one). I mean it was ok but definitely not worth 7.50. Maybe worth a bus trip to a friend's house to borrow the dvd. Haha. Worse than blood & chocolate cause at least that one had supernatural beings and a nice title.

Anyways i bumped into quite a few people today. 1st at burger king before the movie was my aunt and cousin. Then darren at lido. Then- ok this was very coincidental cause a few days ago, mar sent me this song by the used and i'm really hooked on it and i realised a band in my sec school performed it during the talent contest and i was thinking how i liked the lead singer's hair and today he was at zara! Hahah. I saw these nice shoes at zara that looked like i had a prosthetic leg if i wore them...bt they were more of bedroom slippers rather than shoes cause they didnt really have a sole. We went paragon and i felt unfortunate to be un-rich cause of the many nice but expensive clothes there were there. Then after shoppin around some, saw jayne(HI JAYEN-Nuh!) and her gf i think. Then on the way out someone lightly punched me on the shoulder and called my name- another cousin. See, i have many cousins, like over 20 on each side. So yeah, small world. Then after that we chilled at starbucks then headed home.

The system's a bitch.

Went to watch 300 with faith and sy. Went sy came at about 6.40, we bought the tix no problem. Then later when faith came we got our snacks and proceeded to the entrance. When we showed our tickets, the lady asked us to show our i.cs and she said that we were underage and that they count by date.

1stly i was pissed cause its a really stupid system. I mean are we that underdeveloped compared to those who had their birthday a month ago? I mean if academically we are proficient enough to compete with jan babies, why must we be descriminated in this area. 2ndly i'm pissed that there is no standard. As in if they dont check when you buy, they shouldnt check when you enter or if you want to check, do it both times. If there was this kind of equality, at least we would have been able to catch Paris je Taime instead of Blood and Chocolate that was ok but not totally exciting. Damn them. Damn all of them.

And right now the hot topic is avril lavigne's new persona. Usually singers as they progress will go like " this album is gonna be darker and more serious" but i guess marriage buffed her egdes. Its as if her husband whacked her over the head with a laundry basket killing half her braincells... which didnt grow back. That aside, i think the song itself is catchy and grows on you... like p.h's Nothing in this world. Ahahah. Besides these and a few other teen poppy songs, i have good taste in music ok! Hahah.
